Wolf Creek Prospect

Results: Confidential Status: Drilling complete; Production pending

The Wolf Creek Prospect is a proposed single directional new drill well that will test an AVO (seismic) anomaly in the Frio-Guillory sands. Multiple Frio objectives are possible, but the main objective is the Guillory sand prolific in the Savoy field, targeted down to a total depth of approximately 9,100’ Proposed Total Depth (PTD). The Savoy Field historically produced 4 million barrels of oil (MMBO) and 2 billion cubic feet of gas (BCFG).

McMillan Prospect

Results: Drilling Q2 2019 | Status: Funded

Operator: Ricochet Energy

The McMillan Prospect is located in Wharton County about 7 miles NE from El Campo, Texas.  The proposed test well will be drilled to approximately 9,800′ to test a 3D defined trough-peak amplitude anomaly within the Yegua EY-1 interval. The McMillan Prospect’s main attraction is in its low risk nature. The 3D seismic, AVO, and far angle stacks show a very similar seismic response to the analog wells, which should result in a successful well.

Merta Prospect

Results: Tested gas, installing facilities | Status: TBD

Producing gas and oil now. First monthly revenue checks expected 2020.

The Merta Prospect is located in Wharton County approximately 7 miles NW from El Campo, Texas.  The proposed test well will be drilled to approximately 8,400′ to test a 3D defined trough-peak amplitude anomaly within the lower Cook Mountain interval.  There are numerous nearby analogs that have produced over 61 Bcf and 1.3 MMBO from these sands.  The nearest analog to the Merta Prospect is approximately a half mile to the west.  The analog well (the Conoco #1 Merta) has 100′ of net sand and produced approximately 3.2 Bcf and 76,000 BO.

Morrison-Davis Prospect

Results: Drilled 2 & producing 1 | Status: Producing 5 BOPD

Royal Texan Resources Co.

Morrison #1 | API: 4225335022 | Reentered Q2 2017; Dry hole; Plugged

Bonnie Davis #1 | API: 4225335492 | Drilled 4/2017; Produced mostly water; Found cheap water disposal; Well producing

Morrison #1: Previously owned by Cholla Petroleum. The Morrison #1 was completed in 2009 in the Swatiska Sandstone with an open hole completion at a depth of 3513’.

The Morrison #1 produced 12,632 Barrels of Oil (BO) from 2009-2013 and was plugged in April of 2013.  Initial production tests show 60 Barrels of Oil Per Day (BOPD) in the Swatiska Sandstone with no treatments or artificial stimulation.  When the production slowed, Cholla Petroleum made the decision to plug the well, most likely because of the overhead costs associated with their large company on this small well.

Q1 2017 we reentered the well and completed the Gunsight. Based on logs and tests, it must’ve been produced but not publicly documented. So, Royal Texan Resources reentered and tested a zone that was drained. Subsequently, the well was plugged and abandoned.

Bonnie Davis #1

Drilled and cased to 1,990′. The goal is to produce from Flippen Limestone. Decided to drill an additional 1,200′ to 3,200′ and found three additional pay zones deeper than Flippen Lime. The presence of the Pennsylvania Reef was a surprise. It is a localized reef and tough to find with seismic.

Funded March 2017. Executed in Q1 & Q2 2017. Struggling to produce Bonnie Davis #1 due to water production. Short-term fix in place to allow production. Produces minimally (3 BOPD).

Producing small quantities (3 BOPD)

Gallo 2 Prospect

Results: Producing | Status: Producing oil (confidential)

In 2012, Fairways drilled the Gallo Well #1A to the depth of 9350’, on the northern part of this newly identified 3D amplitude and found a 24’ net oil column in a 50’ gross sand in the Frio 15-B sand. When completed, this zone produced at an average rate of over 489 BOPD without water. To date, this well has produced 467,223 BO and 167,597 MCFG from this zone and is currently making about 56 BOPD and declining.

Using the same recovery factor of the Mauboules production next door, the Gallo well should have made over a million barrels of oil from this feature; instead only half of that has been produced. Further study of the 3D seismic data confirmed that the Gallo amplitude may actually be bisected into two separate reservoirs, situated next to each other. This 3D analysis, along with the volumetric study, appears to support the fact that the Gallo well is mainly depleting. CICO Oil & Gas Company has acquired the rights to drill an offset to the Gallo #1A well in order to develop the southeast lobe of this amplitude and intends to drill said well this year. Even if the Gallo amplitude is not fully compartmentalized, using the recovery factors of both the Mauboules and Gallo production, the potential recoverable reserves for this prospect are estimated to exceed 600,000 BO the northern part of this feature, leaving the southern portion partially or fully undrained.

Finished funding the project in October 2018. Drilling began in January 2019. Completion and testing occurred in February 2019. Production began in April 2019. Well is producing oil and water on rod pump.

Producing now! First monthly disbursements expected december 2019.
